BLS (Basic Life Support) is the gold standard CPR certification for healthcare providers. If your role requires you to respond to cardiac or respiratory emergencies in a clinical setting — this is the course you need. It includes a short written test at the end of class; everything on the test is covered during instruction, so no outside studying is required. Accepted by every hospital, clinic, and licensing board in North Carolina.
Heartsaver is AHA's CPR course designed for non-medical professionals — the everyday person who wants to be ready when it matters. It's required for many workplace roles, childcare positions, coaching jobs, and personal trainer certifications. Same AHA authority, designed for the real world outside the hospital.

Heartsaver CPR/AED combined with AHA First Aid gives you everything you need to respond to both cardiac emergencies and the everyday injuries and medical situations your workplace or family will actually face. Required for NC DCDEE childcare licensing.
Specifically focused on children and infants, this course gives daycare workers, babysitters, parents, and nannies the hands-on confidence to respond when a child is in distress. NC DCDEE requires this certification for all licensed childcare staff — and we offer it on-site at your facility to make compliance simple.

Yes. Upon successful completion of your class, your official AHA certification eCard is issued the same day. You'll receive it by email so you can share it with your employer immediately. Physical wallet cards are also available.
BLS runs 3 hours in-person, or just 1 hour for the online/skills session format. Heartsaver CPR/AED and the CPR + First Aid combo are each 5 hours in-person, or 1 hour if you complete the online portion first. Pediatric CPR is 2 hours. Class times are exact — you won't be sitting around waiting.
No experience required. We start from the very beginning. By the end of class, every student — regardless of prior experience — completes a hands-on skills check and leaves with the confidence to use what they learned.
All certifications are issued by the American Heart Association — the most universally accepted standard in the country. AHA cards are accepted by every NC licensing board, every major employer, OSHA, NC DCDEE, and all hospital systems.
Nothing. Wear comfortable clothes you can kneel in. We provide all course materials, manikins, AED trainers, and supplies. Just show up ready to learn.
